Microsoft Office 2010 will come with a new breed of companion online services, dubbed Office Web Applications, designed for collaborating, sharing, and storing your Office documents online, the Redmond, Washington-based software giant said today at its Worldwide Partner Conference 2009. Besides viewing Office documents using your computer, a browser, and a mobile phone, Office Web Applications will enable “basic document editing” features on the web.
