Have you ever heard of a chain saw which is USB compatible? i.Saw is chainsaw which is re-engineered for the both the both PC and Mac compatible. i.Saw has any real satisfying power, given the paltry energy sippage of the USB2 standard. i.Saw can be used for moderately carpentry works; and you cannot expect this to work as that of an electrically powered chainsaw.
